San Diego Engineers Week Awards Banquet
You are invited to kick-off Engineers Week with the 74th annual San Diego Engineers Week Awards Banquet on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. The Awards Banquet is hosted by the San Diego County Engineering Council in collaboration with local Engineering Society Chapters and Engineering Colleges. Join us to network and celebrate the contributions of those local people and organizations who are advancing engineering and technology in the community.

4:00 pm - Registration Opens
4:15 - 5:00 STUDENT NETWORK TRAINING (optional with a banquet ticket).
DISPLAY TABLE Setup available. (Ticket required unless arrangements have been made otherwise.)
5:00 - 6:00 Reception and Sponsor Displays perfect for career networking and fun photo booth activities. Bring your business cards, resumes, and get that group photo!
5:00 - 7:15 No-host cash bar;
6:00 Dinner, Buffet Stations, Open seating
6:30 - 8:30 Awards Ceremony

LOCATION: Liberty Station Conference Center
PARKING is free. You will need to register to receive your raffle ticket.

AUDIENCE: Collegiate and professional engineering society section leadership, their members, colleagues, guests and all interested aspiring engineers and advocates. (Youth under age 18 are welcome with a parent guardian.)

INDIVIDUAL TICKETS (EB) are available. Early bird ticket prices expire February 13, Late registration prices are available through February 16 (or as space allows on a first-com-first-serve availability).

Kathleen Kramer, Ph.D., Electrical Engineering Professor at USD, is the 2025 Global President and CEO of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). She will formally welcome in Engineers Week with the inspirational keynote "Design Your Future".
TIJUANA RIVER IMPACT ON AIR QUALITY
Kimberly Prather, Ph.D., global leader in atmospheric science at the UC San Diego Scripps Institution of Oceanography and member of the NAE, will address how aerosols from the Tijuana River impact regional air quality and human health.
STUDENT NETWORK TRAINING
(OPTIONAL PRE-BANQUET TRAINING) Advance your career networks. Learn networking techniques, meet engineers in various disciplines and then practice what you learn during the banquet. Speaker: Industrial and Systems Engineer Michelle Vargas.
